In the last years, relax chairs, which, as a rule, are placed in living rooms, dining rooms and also business premises, have been considered as a real furniture hit, as more and more households and business entities are opting to buy a recliner that can serve as an extra seat, e.g. in the living room or as a separate furniture, stylish and aesthetic element, which is also practical.

It is precisely because of the popularity of relax chairs that we have decided in this blog post to provide an overview of some of the more specific types of relax chairs, and it should be noted immediately that the interest in relax chairs, in all segments (children's recliners, specific, massage chairs, footstools, ...) is increasing.

Electric relax chairs

Especially in the segment of electrically operated relax chairs, demand and interest are growing sharply, as they we ca find different ones (from those where only the lower, feet parts of the recliners are managed and controlled through electricity) to those where electricity also controls the inclination of the backrest, the inclination of the armrest, the inclination of the entire relax chair and more.

Designer relax chairs are a segment that interests both buyers with a slightly higher purchasing power, and at the same time, a whole range of interior designers who want to design their interior, living quarters by placing an aesthetically sophisticated and functional relax chair in a suitable corner.

In most cases, these are the chairs that have been called relax chairs on the market, but in recent years many relax and designer chairs can be seen, which are intended exclusively for specific groups (e.g. design and relax chairs for children, the so-called baby recliners,...).

Relax chair materials

Basically, the relax chairs differ from one another by their construction and the materials of which they are made. In Slovenia, wooden relax chairs are still the most prevalent, but to which various other materials are added.

Thus, wooden relax chairs can be wonderfully combined with e.g. cloth (the so-called cloth recliners), even more elegant and more often present in business premises, are leather relax chairs.

Over the past three to five years, rattan recliners have also gained a special place and a very strong position in the market of relax chairs made of various materials.

When we ask an average household where they usually place a relax chair, as many as 62.4% say that their relax chairs are set as furniture for living rooms, but when buying them, many people are also interested in relax chairs for bedrooms, children's rooms and other rooms.

Among the specially made relax chairs, it is also worth mentioning relax chairs that are especially suitable for the spine, and recliners that, as in the old days, enable rocking.
